The National Forwarder is known to do what others say is impossible. No job is ever too big or too small for us. In fact, we relish in facing challenging missions and take pride when we eventually make things happen.

The National Forwarder is the proud holder of 2 National Singapore Records:

18th Aug 2007 – Heaviest Air Cargo:
The National Forwarder packed a 32-tonne, 63-foot riser tensioner of deep-sea drilling vessel ‘Chikyu’ into a Korean Airline 747-400 freighter for Frankfurt on 18th Aug 2007. It took up 12 main-deck pallet positions in the aircraft. A 150-tonne crane was required to do this loading. It was a task no other forwarder dared to undertake.

11th Mar 2008 – Longest Air Cargo:
The National Forwarder transported an oil rig slip joint measuring 23.2m to India, beating the 21.3 Christmas tree air cargo in 2000. The slip joint took eight main-deck pallet positions to be loaded into Singapore Airlines SQ7360. Two 50-tonne cranes were required to carefully load in onboard, supervised and assisted by SATS and National Forwarders’ staff.
